Hero/nemesis painting. I painted and compared my mom (left) to Kris Jenner(right). I used a mostly purple color scheme. My mom uses a wide variety of purples that lighten her personality. As seen in parts of her dress and face, I also incorporated some yellow to emphasize her features. For Jenner, I uses a darker purple in her shirt to connect the two moms, but used darker colors, like the black and red, to emphasize her being the "nemesis" in this situation. I took the concept of hero/nemesis to explain the personalities of both mothers. My mom is the "every-day", down-to-earth, typical mother. She is always available and loves being around her family. Kris Jenner depicts the superficialness of most celebrity moms. She's more into looks and appearance, and as depicted, always has a drink in her hand. While she too loves her family, she has a more carefree personality.
